Rapid returns today from the training camp in Antalya, where he recorded a defeat, 1-2 (Pașcanu goal) against the Poles from Wisla Plock, and a victory, 2-1 (D. Paraschiv, Grameni) against the Bulgarians from CSKA 1948 Sofia.
After a day of rest, the Giulești team will start preparing for the resumption of the championship, playing the first game at home on Saturday at 20:00, against Metaloglobus, last placed in the Superliga.

According to the administrator of the arena in Giulești, Marian Balici: “We didn't have any particular problems even though it snowed quite a lot and the temperatures are these low. There was no need to protect the lawn with foil, because during the cold season the defrosting and heating system works.
And the field will be presented, as usual, very well at game time. We didn't even need to shovel snow. If it were to snow much more, then yes, there will also be intervention for snow removal. But for now, the rig has coped. And the snow from the first rows of seats will be removed, so the game will be able to be played in the best conditions”.
From today's images from the arena, it can be seen that three-quarters of the pitch was still covered by a thin layer of frozen snow, which should disappear by the end of the day.
Just a transfer, Gâlcă is still waiting for reinforcements
So far, in this winter mercato, Rapid has managed to complete only one transfer, it is the attacker Daniel Paraschiv, on loan from the Spanish formation Oviedo. Instead, French top scorer Antoine Baroan has already left, falling into disgrace towards the end of the year, when coach Costel Gâlcă announced that, due to repeated misconduct, he would no longer be part of the team.
Since the beginning of this year, he has not even trained with Kader Keita, who stayed at home to recover. Baroan, who has a contract until the summer of 2028, would be loaned to another team.
