Chelsea centre-back Wesley Fofana (25) has again been caught speeding and has been disqualified.

Wesley Fofana has racked up 50 penalty points on his driving license after he was again caught speeding behind the wheel of his Rolls-Royce, valued at around €345,000.

London police took Wesley Fofana's license

The Chelsea centre-back was caught at 1.30am driving at 87km/h in a 64km/h zone in Twickenham, a south-west London suburb, in February 2025, pleading guilty in court.

The Frenchman, whose license has already been suspended for two years, thus reached his tenth conviction for traffic offenses in less than a year. According to the British publication Daily Mail, he did not appear at Lavender Hill Magistrates' Court on Friday. He was fined around €1,200 and given three more penalty points.

It should be noted that in the UK it only takes 12 penalty points to receive a driving ban, but Fofana already has 50.

The former Leicester defender has been dubbed “the worst driver in the Premier League” by the English media. He earns more than 230,000 euros per week, having a contract with the “blues” valid until June 2029.

Fofana arrived at Chelsea in 2022, when Leicester collected 80 million euros for his transfer. The stopper has amassed 14 appearances this season and provided an assist.
