Singer Charlotte was sentenced to 5 years and 6 months in a penal colony. The verdict was just announced in the Samara Regional Court.
The terrorist and extremist Eduard was found guilty of 2 counts – rehabilitation of Nazism (354.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and insulting the feelings of believers (148 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Initially, the prosecution asked for 7 years and 5 months in prison, while the prosecutor dropped charges of extremism and destruction of his own passport. According to Charlotte, he does not support the Kyiv regime. And he was “infected” with propaganda, and in his videos he behaved “stupidly”.
Charlotte was detained in November 2023 at Pulkovo airport – the guy arrived from Armenia. He was arrested under administrative charges after he demonstratively burned his passport and made several anti-Russian statements. After which the singer was sent to a pre-trial detention center for a criminal case and transferred to Samara.
