Although they were leaders in the first part of the season, Rapid lost the first position to the detriment of the University of Craiova. And the people of Giulești are looking for explanations for what happened in December.

At a press conference held at the training camp in Antalya, midfielder Constantin Grameni (23) spoke about his goals for the second part of the season and the string of poor results in December that led to him losing his leadership position. He announced that his goal is the title of champion and says that he and his colleagues must learn from the mistakes made in the last matches of 2025.

“I'm fine. We were anxious to start again. Even though the vacation was short, we all wanted to get back to what we love to do as soon as possible. We started this training camp with enthusiasm. We like staying together, we've gotten used to each other.

For this year we want the title. It's impossible not to see the title, especially since I was in first place for so long. We finished one point behind Craiova and we are thinking of returning to first place. We know that December was not a good month for us. We want to go back to the results so far, the good work done from the summer to November. We were looking for the causes of what happened in the last matches and we want it not to happen again.

We finished the year with two losses, which is not nice. And the defeat in the derby left us with a bitter taste. But that puts us on our guard. It shows us that we still have a lot of work to do. It's a lesson. They make us pay more attention and show us that matches are won on the pitch, with the head. We have to pay attention to everything. We stayed high for a long time, so we have a real chance at the championship and if something changes, and if it doesn't change. But if we want the title, we can't lose two matches in a row“, said Dina Grameni at the conference.

Bucharest did not change me. It's different because there's more attention on the Rapid than it was at the Lighthouse. But it didn't change me. For me, football comes first, I know what I want from life. There is no question that Bucharest will take my mind. Especially since I have parents who can always come to me. On New Year's Eve, I wanted my family and I to be healthy and to get at least one trophy with Rapid.
