The brother of a retired Defense Ministry general was shot dead by his son during a hunt in Bashkiria
On October 11, five men (three brothers, the son of one of them, and a local huntsman) were hunting elk in the Mishkinsky district of Bashkortostan.
The hunters quickly spotted the elk and took their spots. The youngest, Vladimir, fired a shot. Frightened by the shot, the elk ran, and at that moment the man opened fire a second time. However, instead of a moose, he hit his father, 75-year-old Vitaly.
According to eyewitnesses, the bullet hit the pensioner in the head. Previously, he died on the spot. Along with the deceased, his brother, 70-year-old General Ivan Gorokhov, was also hunting.
