CS Dinamo is preparing a symbolic event for the demolition of the stadium: “There will be an event. Supporters will not take seats”

“Yes. We have a plan, we will announce it later. We are designing the event at the moment. Together with colleagues and the marketing department we thought of a nice event. We still have a few details to establish, let's see with the builder where it is and safe, as well as work protection, to carry out a mini-demolition, a start of demolition. A symbolic demolition, yes.
There will be an event, we will do a «save the date», we will have some souvenirs for everyone, nobody will go home empty-handed. Fans who come will take a memento from the old stadium, sure, but not seats. Legally, they are in the custody of the CNI and the company that executes the things. At the end, they have to capitalize on them in one way or another and they have to count,” Ionuț Popa said, according to prosport.ro.
After years of procrastination, the CNI announced on December 24, 2025 that the works on the new Dinamo stadium can officially start on January 19, 2025. Immediately after the “dogs” Superliga match with U Cluj, the works can begin.
The arena will have 25,059 seats and the stadium will be dimensioned in accordance with the applicable requirements of the UEFA accreditation regulation for level 4, including meeting the higher requirements of this standard.
The complex will be classified in the 4th category (ex-“Elite”) according to the UEFA classification, with a capacity of approximately 25,000 seats, changing rooms (hosts, guests, referees, ball children, auxiliary staff).
The complex in Ștefan cel Mare will also have three-ring boxing, weightlifting, judo, wrestling, gymnastics, fitness and fencing rooms, changing rooms and related spaces for staff, for training camps, for spectators, for the press, TV transmissions, storage and other technical spaces related to building maintenance.
