“At the Bank of Russia meeting on October 25, we expect an increase in the key rate. In December, an increase to 22% is possible,” analysts said.
The Central Bank's decision to increase is pressured by an increase in the recycling fee from October 1, as well as a noticeable weakening of the ruble exchange rate, experts say.
“With further intensification of geopolitical tensions, growing budget deficits and increasing pressure on the labor market, we do not exclude further increasing the key rate to 25%,” – writes RBC.
