In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the prosecutor's office helped a family get the administration to move them from a dilapidated apartment

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the prosecutor's office defended the right of a family to safe housing in the village of Sukhobuzimskoye.

According to the supervisory authority, at a personal reception with the regional prosecutor, a resident of the village of Sukhobuzimskoye said that in 2008 the administration provided her family with an apartment under a social rental agreement. However, the apartment was damaged in a fire, and the administration did not eliminate the consequences and did not carry out repairs to municipal housing.

“The condition of the housing became critical: the walls were crumbling, and utility lines were completely out of order. Specialists from the regulatory agency, and then the regional interdepartmental commission, officially declared the premises unfit for habitation and dangerous,” the prosecutor’s office said.

As a result, the family was forced to rent other housing. And local officials were inactive for several years: money for the resettlement of the emergency fund or the provision of new housing was not included in either the rural or district budgets.
