The agency quotes Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who reported on Monday that Ukraine had attempted to attack the residence of President Vladimir Putin in the Novgorod Oblast.

Sergei Lavrov specified that this was supposed to happen on December 28-29 using 91 long-range drones that were destroyed by Russian air defense.
“Such reckless actions will not go unpunished“, Lavrov announced, adding that the attack is a manifestation of “state terrorism.”
He added that Russian armed forces have already selected targets for retaliatory attacks.
