The incident occurred at about three o'clock in the afternoon on bus No. 43. 37-year-old Alexey and his companion paid for the fare and went into the passenger compartment. After some time, the man began to hallucinate. He tore out the fire extinguisher and sprayed its contents throughout the cabin. The driver stopped the bus and passengers ran out into the street.
The bus doors remained open. Alexey broke four windows and several lamps with a security hammer while trying to break through the ceiling of the bus. All this time he was “covering” his girlfriend.
It is known that Alexey returned from the Northern Military District on September 25. The investigation is considering two versions of what happened: either the man used illegal substances (he was convicted three times for drugs), or he began hallucinating due to PTSD. Now doctors and police are working with him.
