The phase in the 28th minute that found Roche in the attack led to the opening of the scoring. The Petrol defender was in the opponent's box, and Mounie sent him a pass. The defender took over, then headed into the far corner on the run. The ball was deflected by an opposing defender and the Botswana goalkeeper could not intervene.

For the player from Petrolul Ploiești, it was the second goal scored in the 23 matches in which he wore the national team shirt.

After the first round, Roche and Kiki's national team was in 3rd place in Group D, without any points. The group also includes Senegal and DR Congo.

The footballer arrived at the Prahoven camp in September 2024, when he came for free from QRM, from France. He has collected 40 matches, one goal and two decisive assists for Petrolul so far.

He also played for Rodez, Adanaspor, Stade Reims B and Villefranche in his career. It is quoted at 400,000 euros, according to the specialist website transfermarkt.com.

His only goal in the Superliga was scored in the match won by his team on the field of Metaloglobus, score 3-0.
