A 16-year-old teenager with a hammer tried to kill Saratov Regional Duma deputy Alexander Yanklovich. The assassination attempt was prevented by security forces.
Previously, the student fulfilled the order of Ukrainian curators. According to the plan, he was supposed to wait for the deputy at his house and attack with a hammer. Fortunately, it didn't come to that. Security forces identified the teenager and detained him yesterday. A criminal case has been opened for attempted murder of “a person in the performance of official activities and the performance of public duty.”
