The return of Nicolae Stanciu to FCSB seems, at least at this moment, an excluded scenario. The announcement was made by Mihai Stoica (60 years old), the president of the Board of Directors of the Romanian champion, a day after the victory of the red-blues in the derby with Rapid, score 2-1in the 21st stage of the Superliga.

The last match played by Nicolae Stanciu took place on December 3, in the Italian Cup, when Genoa was decisively defeated by Atalanta, score 0-4.

Mihai Stoica's clear message: “It makes no sense”

The FCSB official conveyed that the subject is closed from the start, given that the club owner is not interested in this move, but also explained the sporting context of the current team.

“Since Gigi said that he is not interested in Stanciu, there is no point in discussing. I care a lot about him, but we cannot take players to overload ourselves where we already have footballers.

If we are to discuss, we, on the number 10 post, have Olaru, Tănase, Cisotti and Octavian Popescu. We can't take players just because Nicușor Stanciu, wherever he goes, makes a difference. I don't understand why they don't play there, but they know better,” said Mihai Stoica, for fanatik.ro.
