Another opponent of Romania from the European Championship has announced its team! It has only one foreign player

North Macedonia, Romania's opponent in group B of the European Men's Handball Championship, announced the team with which it will start preparations for the tournament in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

Between January 15 and February 1, 2026, the European Men's Handball Championship will take place. Romania will evolve in group B, alongside four-time world champion Denmarkby Portugal and North Macedonia.

The Balkan opponent of the tricolors has announced its team with which it will start preparations, and it contains only one handball player who plays abroad. It's about goalkeeper Martin Tomovski from SG BBM Bietigheim, from Germany.

Otherwise, the North Macedonia team is made up of players from RK Alkaloid (13) and RK Eurofarm Pelister (6), the team that represents the country in the Champions League. GRK Ohrid also has a handball player in the national team, right winger Tomislav Jagurinovski.
