Woman dies due to virus in hamster
In Spain, a 38-year-old mother died in front of her two children after being bitten by a pet hamster.
The victim was heading to the medical center to get help, but did not reach it and fell a few meters from the front door of the hospital. Doctors rushed to resuscitate the woman, but in the end they were unable to save her.
Doctors recalled that even domestic hamsters can carry deadly viruses, which over time develop in their body and are transmitted to humans with fatal complications.
