CSO Băicoi, the team in 5th place in Series 4 of League 3, announced through a statement on social networks the parting with Valentin Lazăr, the former Dynamo player who was a coach.
Vali Lazăr retired as a player from the Băicoi team and started coaching there. It was his first coaching experience.

“Our club is saying goodbye to coach Valentin Lazăr, a man who put soul, work and passion into every day spent with this team.
During his tenure, he contributed decisively to player development, forming a united group and building a playing identity based on discipline, determination and respect for the club's colours. Beyond the results, he left behind a more mature and stronger team.
We thank him for his professionalism, seriousness and involvement, for the moments we lived together, for the victories that made us happy and for the lessons offered in the more difficult moments.
We wish him continued success in his coaching career and are confident that his work and value will be appreciated wherever he goes.

Vali Lazăr managed to promote amateur teams in the third echelon, eliminated Chindia Târgoviște from this edition of the Romanian Betano Cup, and now he has parted ways with the team from Băicoi.
Vali Lazăr played in Romania for Petrolul, Chimia Brazi, Sportul Studențesc, Dinamo, Concordia Chiajna, CSM Reșita, CS Păulești and after that he arrived at CSO Băicoi. He has a presence in the senior national team of Romania. Abroad, he played for Al-Sailiya, Al-Kharaitiyat and Umraniyespor. He has the most matches for Dinamo, the club where he was also captain: 130, 21 matches and 24 assists.
