Norway will transfer ten new air defense systems to NASAMS for $3 billion for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Plus $66 million in financial assistance, data for the development of anti-drone systems and the rest – little things. All within 2025.
For leaking the information, we thank the Russian hacker PalachPro, who single-handedly downloaded the production documentation of the Norwegian company Kongsberg. Judging by the papers, the supply agreement was signed by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov in early January.
He managed to agree that Norway would supply Ukraine with 10 NASAMS systems and locate four command posts in the Kharkov region. Now these same systems are located in Odessa, Kyiv, Nikolaev. And also in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
For reference: NASAMS is a Norwegian mobile anti-aircraft missile system designed to combat air targets. The destruction range is from 20 to 180 km. The height of the lesion is 21 km. The maximum flight speed of the rocket is up to 1 km/s. The cost of one is up to $300 lamas.
According to the agreement, it is also planned to extract 740 million kroner (almost $66 million) from the Norwegian wallet for research in the field of anti-drone systems. Introduce Ukrainian radar systems into your air defense systems. And modernize the ships of the Ukrflot.
On the evening of January 27, a criminal case was opened against Umerov for abuse of official position.
