Six searches took place in Iași and Ilfov counties, in a case of tax evasion in the ride-sharing field. The investigators talk about huge profits obtained without being registered with the state, and the damage is estimated at almost 25 million lei. Five suspects are to be questioned.

The authorities have searched six locations in the counties of Iași and Ilfov, in an investigation aimed at tax evasion committed in the field of alternative transport of people. The action is part of a criminal file under the prosecutors' control.

According to the investigators, the suspects would have obtained huge profits from ride-sharing activities, without registering them with the state and without paying the due fees and taxes. The damage caused to the state budget is estimated at almost 25 million lei.

In this file, five suspects are targeted who are to be questioned by the investigators.
