The prosecutor's office of the Krasnoyarsk Territory stopped a scheme to reduce rent for a warehouse site in Lesosibirsk. This was reported by the press service of the regional supervisory agency.
In 2023, a local resident won the auction and received a lease of land for the construction of warehouses. The rent was 300 thousand rubles per year. The tenant erected an unfinished construction project, sold it to another person and terminated the contract. As a result, the administration did not receive the money it was due.
“The new owner was not at a loss: he turned to the mayor’s office with a request to lease him the same land on preferential terms without bidding for the use of warehouses. The administration met halfway, reducing the fee to 1.5 thousand rubles. annually, despite the fact that the rental rate cannot fall below what it was at the auction. The result is that the city budget lost hundreds of thousands of rubles for the years 2023–2025,” the regional prosecutor’s office clarified.
The prosecutor's office submitted to the head cities performance. As a result the perpetrators were disciplined, the administration filed a lawsuit to change the contract and issued an invoice to the tenant for 700 thousand rubleslei.
