A 13-year-old boy sat on a tree stump for 20 minutes in the middle of the Bitsa River in Moscow. He fell through the ice – he was rescued and taken to the hospital.
The child stepped onto the fragile ice and was no longer able to get out on his own. Rescuers had to deploy a ladder to get to him. The teenager is very cold and has first-degree hypothermia.
