
The US authorities will release Russian Alexander Vinnik in exchange for Mark Vogel, released and pardoned by Russia. ABC News reported this.
In the tenth year, Vinnik worked on an online trading platform. Sold and bought fiat currency and crypto. In 2017, he was detained and arrested in Greece. He was accused of laundering more than $4 billion. He was later extradited to the States. There they accused him of running a cryptocurrency exchange, where he kept allegedly stolen money. According to journalists, Vinnik controls a wallet with 80k bitcoins. That's $8 billion.
