The Central Telegraph building in the center of Moscow will become a new educational campus. Central University will accommodate students and teachers there.
The interior is currently being renovated. Workers are restoring almost 71 thousand square meters. They plan to complete it by 2027. They promise to preserve the external appearance, but everything inside will be updated and decorated in the style of modern minimalism.
The campus will have auditoriums for lectures, seminars and practical classes, scientific laboratories, a library, reading, sports and dining halls, a museum and other educational facilities for 5,000 people.
The Central University was created with the support of more than 50 of the country's largest companies. In 2024, university teachers prepared a team of Russian schoolchildren for the first International AI Olympiad in Bulgaria. The guys beat out competitors from 39 countries and took first place.
