The Shushensky District Court confiscated a car from a local resident who repeatedly got behind the wheel while intoxicated.
In March 2025 in the village. Shushenskoe traffic police stopped a Honda car driven by a 36-year-old local resident with characteristic signs of intoxication. The driver was examined by police on the spot, the result was 0.33 mg/l.
Previously, the man had already been brought to administrative responsibility for driving a vehicle while intoxicated. He was sentenced to an administrative fine in the amount of 30,000 rubles with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of 1 year 6 months. However, the man decided to drive drunk again.
Drunk driver stopped
The court found him guilty under Part 1 of Art. 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and imposed a punishment in the form of compulsory labor for a period of 300 hours with deprivation of the right to engage in activities related to driving vehicles for a period of 2 years 6 months. He also confiscated a Honda car for state revenue. The verdict came into force.
