A 48-year-old man notified the Hunedoara Municipality Police after his ex-wife, a 47-year-old woman, allegedly showed up at a school in the city, where their minor daughter, an eight-year-old girl, studies, and caused a scandal, reports Agerpres.

According to a Police press release, the man went to the educational institution to pick up his daughter.

At that moment, a verbal conflict broke out between him and his ex-wife, during which the woman physically assaulted him.

“The police have issued a provisional protection order against the 47-year-old woman, who was also fitted with an electronic surveillance system”, IPJ Hunedoara reported on Saturday.

“In the case, a criminal file for domestic violence was opened, and the investigations continue under the coordination of the competent Prosecutor's Office”, the police also said.
