Eight territories are competing for the title of youth capital of the Krasnoyarsk Territory 2026

The popular vote for the youth capital of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in 2026 has begun, the regional government reported.

Achinsk, Dudinka, Zelenogorsk, Karatuzskoye, Kuragino, Lesosibirsk, Minusinsk and Norilsk are fighting for victory. The nominees submitted applications and video cards about plans for the development of youth policy.

Residents can choose one of eight localities to receive additional chances to receive the honorary title. Voting takes place on the “Active Citizen” platform in the “Youth” section until December 11.

The leader will be determined based on the results of all stages of the competition. The results of the competition will be summed up at the closing of the project “Youth Capital of the Krasnoyarsk Territory – 2025” in Sosnovoborsk on December 15. The municipality that wins the selection will become a venue for major regional events for a year.

Let us remind you thatThe “Youth Capital of the Krasnoyarsk Territory” project has been operating since 2017. The main selection criteria are the availability of infrastructure facilities for holding public events, the efficiency of the headquarters of flagship programs and the readiness to implement large projects. Minusinsk, Achinsk, Lesosibirsk, Divnogorsk, Sharypovo, Nazarovo and Kansk have already received honorary status.
