The ice town in the Central region of Krasnoyarsk will be decorated with characters from folk tales

In the Central district of Krasnoyarsk in the park named after. Chernyshevsky will soon begin to build an ice town, the press service of the city administration reported.

The main theme of the town will be Russian folklore and fairy-tale characters. In addition, in The square will feature an ice labyrinth, a themed photo zone and ice sculptures of Father Frost and the Snow Maiden.

Also, three slides will be built here – one large and two small, for the youngest residents of the area.

“This year we tried to make the town as diverse as possible. There will be entertainment for different ages: a large slide for children and teenagers, separate ones for kids, an interesting labyrinth and, of course, classic winter sculptures. Chernyshevsky Square traditionally becomes the center of New Year’s festivities in the area, and we want every Krasnoyarsk resident to find something interesting here,” noted the acting head of the Central District Administration Stanislav Potashkov.

The mayor's office clarified that everything the structures will be built in accordance with established safety requirements, and the large slide will receive a certificate. A contractor for the construction of ice facilities has already been identified. Part of the town's filling will be built thanks to the entrepreneurs who financially supported the project.

Let us recall that earlier in Krasnoyarsk approved sketches of the New Year's town in Tatyshev Park. Ice figures and slides will be made in the concept of the Winter Yar celebration, the design will be based on traditional Russian motifs with elements of folk ornaments, and Krasnoyarsk residents will also see the main symbols of the city in ice performance.
