A new problem on the Anapa coast is stray dogs. Which occupied the beaches of the boarding houses “Selena”, “Pearl of Russia” and four others. The dogs attack birds affected by fuel oil, scare volunteers and poison themselves.
Some volunteers find it difficult to do their work because of fear – they are afraid that they will be attacked by packs of four-legged animals. The watchdogs themselves are also in danger – they feed on birds affected by the oil spill and become intoxicated.
According to locals, the animal protection organization “Kind World” in Anapa is not responding to the situation. But volunteers don’t really want to go there for help, since a couple of years ago 30 corpses of dogs were found near the shelter.
