Draw cf.from Clinceni, score 2-2 with Metalloglobuswas followed by an interesting moment. striker Louis Munteanu he publicly expressed his frustration at not being let go in the summer when there were substantial bids for his transfer. This season, the 23-year-old striker has not recovered his form, having only scored two goals in all competitions, and the team has not ticked off the objectives of the European cups either.
The striker's dissatisfaction brought back into question the way Superliga clubs manage mercato situations, and Andrei Vochin, the advisor to the FRF president, commented sharply on the situation at CFR.
Vochin, tough on the people of Cluj: “Everyone dreams of the casino coup, not the construction”
The FRF adviser explained that the constant pressure to catch the Champions League groups leads to unrealistic decisions and expectations completely disconnected from the real level of investment:
“It's casino-style thinking. Instead of going about your business and going year after year in the Conference League or the Europa League, everyone is waiting for the shot: let's get into the Champions League. What to enter, brother, in the Champions League? With a budget of 15 million, when others have 50-60?“.
Vochin emphasized the huge difference in value between the Romanian clubs and the opponents in the preliminaries:
“You have a lot of 40 million and you want to remove teams with 250-300 million from the competition. Of course it doesn't happen. You go into managerial depression, you say you missed the season. No, you just missed a utopia of your own.”
FRF official, without management: “How can you want 30-40 million on a player without international performances?”
Referring indirectly to the situation of Louis Munteanu, Vochin criticized the overvaluations practiced in the Superliga:
“You end up saying: “I have a jewel, how much is it? 30-40 million”. What does he do? He has no matches in European cups, he has no national team, he has not won the top scorer title in Romania. There were goal scorers here who didn't even transfer out,” said Andrei Vochin, according to digisport.ro.
Louis Munteanu raged after the match with Metaloglobus: “They didn't let me train”
After again addressing the subject of the transfer, Louis Munteanu made accusations and had an incendiary speech after the match.
We had good offers in the summer, but they were turned down because they were asking for a lot of money. I was told I was going to leave and they wouldn't let me train because I was going to leave. Then the European matches would come and they would call me directly to the game: “Come on, play!”.
Of course it affected me. It was seen in my developments. The situation was not handled properly.
