The Romanian Handball Federation has officially launched the ticketing platform for the 2026 European Women's Handball Championship, hosted by Romania, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Turkey. The event took place on December 3, at the Sports Museum at COSR.

Romania will host matches at the 2026 European Handball Championship in Oradea and Cluj at the BT Arena. The preliminary group A matches will be played in Oradea, while the preliminary group B and I matches will be played in Cluj. The 2026 European Women's Handball Championship will take place between December 3 and December 20, 2026.

The tickets went on sale today as a package on the eventim.ro website. Tickets are sold as a package by city. For the parties in Oradea, 3 in number, the cheapest package starts from 224 lei, and the most expensive is 1872 lei. The matches in Oradea will be played between December 4, 2026 and December 8, 2026.
In Cluj, for group B matches, 3 in number, packages start at 224 lei, and at VIP they are sold at the price of 1872. For group I matches, packages start at 281 lei and go up to 3,557 lei. The matches in Cluj were scheduled between December 10 and December 15, 2026.

The 2026 European Championship was originally scheduled to be held in Russia, but due to the war in Ukraine, the EHF reoriented and opted for a tournament hosted in several European countries: the Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Turkey.
Several important personalities from Romanian sport were present at the event: Bogdan Matei, president of ANS, Mihai Covaliu, president of COSR, Nicolae Luca, Secretary General of FRH, former handball players and Euro 2026 ambassadors Luminița Huțupan-Dinu and Steluța Luca. Former footballers Dani Coman and Ciprian Marica were present at the event.
