The Hungarian women's national handball team achieved the score of the World Championship in the confrontation with Iran in group B. The future opponent of Romania dominated Iran, scored almost 50 goals and prevailed with a difference of 34 goals: 47-13.
After struggling in the first half against Senegal, which he defeated by 9 goals (26-17)Hungary showed a completely different side in their clash with Iran in Maaspoort, 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands.

The Hungarians had no mercy on the Asians and imposed their dominance from the start. At halftime, they led 27-7, having an incredible 20-goal advantage.
After returning from the cabins, Hungary continued to show the same pace in attack and in defense they conceded even fewer goals. In the end, our neighbor prevailed 47-13 and set the score of the Women's Handball World Championship and probably one of the biggest differences in history.
Hungary had 14 scorers, the best being Greta Marton (9 goals), Julia Harsfalvi (7), Anna Albek (6) and Katrin Klujber (5). Then followed 3 players with 3 goals each and 4 handball players with 2 successes each.
On the other side, the leaders of Iran were Haniyeh Karimi (3 goals) and Aseman Badvi (3). The losing side made just 13 of 39 shots (33%), while Hungary made 47 of 61 attempts (77%). In addition, the Hungarians managed 15 goals on the counterattack, having only 3 successes from 7 meters.
With 2 wins, Hungary reached the same record as Switzerland and moved into first place, thanks to a superior goal difference. In the main group, the teams from this group will meet the national teams from Romania's group.
