Deian Sorescu (28 years old) provided a decisive assist in Gaziantep – Eyupspor 1-2, match of the 14th stage of the Turkish championship. The phase of that gap is unbelievable.
Gaziantep – Eyupspor started with two starting Romanians: Alexandru Maxim for the hosts, Denis Drăguș for the guests. At the exit from the cabins for the second half there were even 3, Deian Sorescu being thrown into the fight by Gaziantep's coach.
Eyupspor opened the scoring in the 10th minute, from a penalty committed by captain Alexandru Maxim himself. Umut Bozok is the one who completed.

In the 24th minute, left alone with the opposing goalkeeper, Denis Drăguș put the ball into the net, but his goal was canceled due to offside, the Romanian being caught in the opposing half at the time of the pass.
In fact, the launch of Drăguș in the lane was a weapon that Eyupspor kept resorting to throughout the match. In addition to the disallowed goal phase, the Romanian missed twice in such situations, 1 on 1 with the opposing goalkeeper!
And Alexandru Maxim was dangerous, with two shots from outside the box: once he went wide of the goal, and the second time, from a free kick, was blocked by the opposing goalkeeper.

Playing on the counter, the visitors struck decisively in the 88th minute, through Halil Akbunar. Again mistake by Maxim, who carelessly passed towards his own goal and put the visitors on the counterattack.
By the end, all the hosts could do was reduce the difference. That goal was hallucinatory, came while some of the players had jumped to the fray! That left Emmanuel Boateng with an empty net, he fulfilling a formality after receiving the ball from Sorescu.
Although he had seen that some of the players were getting dressed, the goalkeeper came out to separate them, the referee did NOT blow the whistle and allowed the hosts to score with an empty net!
