The incident took place in the courtyard of the Islamic Azad University in Tehran.
The girl stripped off “in protest” after she was criticized for wearing a hijab incorrectly by members of the Basij paramilitary group, media reported. The student was arrested.
The university said the girl was “under psychological pressure” and had a mental disorder. After an investigation, the student may be sent for treatment.
