Laurette Nogo, impresario who has brought several players to Romania over time, spoke about the match to be played in Serbia, between Steaua Roșie Belgrad and FCSB, in stage 5 of the Europa League group.

Laurette is close to Red Star Belgrade, but is also a constant presence at FCSB matches. The impresario was at the National Arena when FCSB won the title of Superliga champion in the previous season. Also, Laurette didn't miss the match with Olympique Lyon, from last season's “eighth” final of the Europa League.

Laurette Nogo: “Every Serbian says that FCSB is the Star”

Everyone is looking for me to talk about this match, which is also very important for me because we are playing FCSB, which I consider Steaua, and I am strictly referring to what I have known, it has nothing to do with the legal aspects.

I can say that every Serbian says that FCSB is the Star. They greatly respect Miodrag Belodedici and consider him their legend and have remained in contact with him. No one from FCSB has asked me about the Red Star yet.

The ultras of the Romanian national team and the Serbian ones met in Belgrade before the match in Zenica. I don't think there was any risk to play without spectators and I think it will be a full stadium and a great atmosphere. I don't think there will be incidents because Romanians are very well seen in Serbia. It's a match between two friendly countries and I don't think there will be any problems”, said Laurette Nogo, according to fanatik.ro.

Laurette Nogo: “Both teams are going through tough times”

Red Star is not doing very well in the Europa League because the expectations were much higher. But we have a better program than FCSB. With a win there are really good chances of qualification.

Steaua Roșie still has Sturm Graz and Malmo away and the last match at home against Celta Vigo. FCSB have much more difficult matches with Feyenoord, Fenerbahce and Dinamo Zagreb. We are not so bad in the championship either, because if they win the backlog from December with Vojvodina, they will move to first place. Honestly, both teams are going through difficult moments both from a sporting and mental point of view and seem a bit overwhelmed by the situation”, concluded the manager.
