In Russia they want to stop issuing iron coins. The population has become less likely to use change, so the production of coins may be stopped, the State Duma said.
It is proposed to leave only the ruble coin in circulation as an example of the national currency. Earlier, Gosznak admitted that banknotes would no longer be used in Russia by 2030.
