Marcel Ciolacu's counter-candidate for Buzău CJ accuses of being “denigrated” with AI by the party “which has controlled the county for 20 years”

The PNL-USR candidate in the elections for the presidency of the Buzău County Council, Mihai Răzvan Moraru, claims that there is an attempt to denigrate him through a film generated with artificial intelligence (AI) “in which only lies are told”. Moraru claims that behind the “attacks” aimed at him is the party “which has controlled this county for 20 years”, an allusion to the PSD.

According to News.ro, the candidate shared a clip in which a man accuses him of being just the facade of a group, stating: “We are about to hand over the county to a clan of pimps (…) People who sold minor girls are now making our lists for the County Council. Mihai Răzvan Moranu is not an entrepreneur, he is a facade.” Images are no longer available.

Reacting on social networks, Mihai Răzvan Moraru declared that “the local political mafia has started a campaign full of misery”.

“After the bot attacks, after the blocking of my Facebook page, after the attempts to access the emails of my colleagues and after the illegal display in the city, I have reached the next level: a film generated with AI, in which I am denigrated and in which only lies are rolled. Many lies!”, the PNL-USR candidate wrote, Monday evening, on Facebook.

He claims that PSD is behind the “attacks”.

Mihai Răzvan Moraru claims that “these lies are repeated by a man who declares himself “free through Buzău”, but who is on the payroll of a party”, but also “through publications owned by people from their close gang, which we find in the shareholding of those companies”.

“The post in which I wrote about the networks close to Marcel Ciolacu was extremely disturbing! I have bad news for them – I have more to publish! Wait a little longer! They are the same laboratories that wrote rubbish about me 5 years ago, when I also wrote about their network!”, continued Mihai Răzvan Moraru.

He did not explicitly mention PSD, but said that “behind these attacks” is “exactly the same one who has controlled this county for 20 years”.

“They are afraid! First of all, because I exposed the network that empties the local and central budget, through various companies associated with the “ruling party”! They know that they are losing the votes of people who are tired of paying for their privileges. And that is why they are willing to use any means, including AI manipulations, to protect their benefits obtained from public money”, Mihai Răzvan Moraru also declared.
