The fate of the game was decided from the first half. Pablo Sarabia, the former PSG star, now under the command of Contra, opened the scoring in the 24th minute.
Olunga made it 2-0 in the 34th minute, and the same Sarabia solved the equation of the game 5 minutes before the break. Niall Mason reduced the deficit for the hosts in extra time in the first act.

The second half belonged entirely to Al Arabi, who had fun with the formation for which Presnel Kimpembe (30), the former central defender from PSG, is playing.

Following this result, Al Arabi climbed to 6th place in the championship, with 16 points after 10 matches. On the other hand, the opponent is on 5, with 17.
For Al Arabi and Cosmin Contra, the away duel with AL Khor, in the QSL Cup, on November 29 follows.
The stars in Cosmin Contra's team are Jordan Veretout, a French midfielder who has played for teams such as Aston Villa, Fiorentina, AS Roma, or Olympique Lyon, and Pablo Sarabia, a former player from Getafe, Sevilla, PSG, Sporting Lisbon and Wolverhampton.
