The 23rd International Festival of Cinematic Debuts “Spirit of Fire” was held in the capital of Khanty-Mansiysk. If you haven't heard, you're in vain! They are rich in more than one Oscar.
In short, “Spirit of Fire” is the largest film festival in Russia, where aspiring filmmakers and filmmakers show their works. It is held every year. In 2025, more than 500 participants from 45 countries applied for participation. 7 full-length films and 18 short films made it to the finals. The international jury was headed by Korean director Shin Yong-shik, and the main judge in the Russian competition was actor and screenwriter Yuri Moroz.
Gazprom Neft has been the general partner since 2007. Plus, the company traditionally presents an award for the best Russian film in the category “For the Preservation of Cultural Traditions.”
