Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Anna Kuznetsova arrived in Krasnoyarsk to participate in the demographic forum on a working visit. The regional government reported this.

Anna Kuznetsova met with the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov. The parties discussed a wide range of topics related to the state's demographic policy. The key topics were the preservation of traditional values, strengthening the institution of family, support for motherhood and childhood, as well as assistance to parents with many children.

Mikhail Kotyukov said that today more than 50 thousand large families live in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, raising 168 thousand children. In terms of their number, the region is in first place in the Siberian Federal District. Anna Kuznetsova noted the region’s comprehensive approach to improving measures to support parents with many children. Every sixth family in the region has three or more children.

A number of measures are in place to maintain this trend. Thus, women who gave birth to their first child up to 23 years of age inclusive receive 100 thousand rubles from the regional budget – 1,300 mothers have already received certificates. The size of the annual payment for schoolchildren has increased from 2 to 13 or 18 thousand rubles, depending on the regional coefficient – since the beginning of 2025, more than 90 thousand children have received this support. In addition, the category of large families entitled to a land certificate was expanded in the region. It has already been provided to 400 families.

The region operates a digital navigator “Electronic Social Code”—couples with many children can apply for benefits proactively. They receive support measures without taking into account the criteria of need. And from February 1, large families will be able to use the service of a social nanny for children under 4 years old.

Mikhail Kotyukov emphasized that in addition to introducing various social assistance measures and infrastructure development, the region is actively introducing the principle of family-centricity, in which the interests of the family and support for parents with children become a priority in all areas.

“I believe that the criteria of “family-centricity” must be taken into account when implementing government programs and projects,” the governor emphasized.

Anna Kuznetsova noted that the State Duma of the Russian Federation has already made the appropriate decisions: all committees, regardless of the area of activity, will take into account the interests of families with children when making decisions.
