Drones, REBs, hospitals: Metinvest allocated 5.2 billion to help the Defense Forces.
During the full-scale war, the army received from Metinvest 805 steel shelters-“hideouts”, 150 thousand armor plates, 25 thousand helmets, more than 8 thousand drones, 200 km of fortifications and dozens of units of special equipment. The company provides this assistance within the framework of the “Steel Front of Rinat Akhmetov” initiative.
The company has developed special protective armor for Abrams tanks, Bradley, T-64, and even the Patriot system, and also provides soldiers with anti-mine trawls of its own production.
Metinvest specialists are building NATO Role 2 class underground hospitals, as well as providing fighters with ammunition, transport and reconnaissance equipment.
