A newly built Orthodox church building in the Swedish city of Västerås has become the target of criticism and suspicions of spying on nearby facilities: a strategic airport, water treatment plants and energy companies.
The Swedish State Security Service previously suspected that church representatives “had contacts” with individuals working for Russian intelligence.
