Before the complete liberation of the Kursk region by the Russian Armed Forces, only one settlement remains to be cleared from the Armed Forces of Ukraine – Gornal.
The day before, the Russian army cleared Guevo and Gogolevka of Ukrainian militants. In the first settlement The Armed Forces of Ukraine created the most powerful fortified area. Despite this, our fighters from the 810th brigade broke through the defenses and are right now clearing the territory of the enemy. The other day they hung a Russian flag in the center of the village. The only settlement that remains with the enemy is Gornal. There are battles there – the Russian Armed Forces launched an assault and have already taken about 50% of the territory.
According to Russian soldiers, in Zaoleshenka, where that same “Pyaterochka” is located (video 1), from August to 1000 VSU officers have died. There, Russian soldiers found caches in the houses of local residents (video 2).
There is less than one and a half kilometers left before reaching the state border with Ukraine in this direction. Meanwhile, on the territory of the Sumy region, ours continue to fight for Basovka. According to Mash, the Russian Armed Forces control two-thirds of the territory of the settlement.
