The survey emphasized that the limit above which the ability to save increases significantly is approximately PLN 700,000. forints per month (approx. EUR 1.8 thousand). Below that, only five percent of people are able to save, above – 22 percent. people admit that they can save one third of their income.

The study also highlighted the percentage of people who fear that their pension will not be enough to support themselveshas increased significantly since this summer – from 22 to 27 percent.

Hungarians still perceive inflation as the main threat existential – emphasized.

The issue of finances is one of the main topics discussed in the Hungarian public debate before the parliamentary elections scheduled for April 2026.
