The website of the Russian State Traffic Safety Inspectorate states that there are 50,260 cameras for recording violations. However, the report of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the 1st quarter indicated only 29,800 working devices.
In total, at least 20,400 cameras were placed in the database incorrectly. When the navigator suggests that there is a camera ahead, most likely it is reacting to a “ghost” installation.
