Elias Charalambous, statements after Hermannstadt – FCSB 3-3: “I definitely did something wrong”

“For you it was a successful night, because it was a spectacular match. I don't feel disappointed. We had to win the match, we had many arguments to win it.

We also had that chance to lead 1-0, after that we conceded easy goals, especially the second one. We managed to score again, but it was offside.

Today we paid for the situations where we failed to score. We had courage until the end, even though we were outnumbered, we scored for 3-3.

We got one point, although we had aimed for three. At the end of the day we pay for what we do. We must not repeat such mistakes in other matches, treat such situations seriously.

We must have done something wrong if we conceded three goals in one game. For me there are no excuses. We showed that we can play good football even when we had injured players or when we were outnumbered.

We have to focus more, be serious to win the matches. We must not make such mistakes again. Târnovanu had a cold, that's why he didn't play, I think he will be OK for the national team”, said Charalambous, on Digi Sport 1.
