The anti-aircraft artillery division of the 3rd OShBr destroyed 2,112 air targets during the year, – division commander Maksym Zaichenko.
“I took command of the unit at the moment when the brigade received one of the largest lines of responsibility on the front – the enemy formed a strike group and threw large forces on the offensive. The question of increasing the efficiency of the available forces and means has become critical.
During this time, with the joint efforts of officers, sergeants and soldiers, the management system was rebooted, modern and effective planning mechanisms were implemented, the level of combat training was increased, and additional resources were attracted for capacity building and comprehensive support of combat operations,” Maksym comments.
Out of 2112 targets destroyed: 115 Shahed/Geranium and 35 Gerbera, 29 Orlan10/30, 47 Supercam, 10 Skat-350M, 85 Zala421/Z20, 82 Lancet, 1 Tachyon, 1 Merlin-VR, 4 Privet82/120, 17 Kub-UAV, 541 Molniya1/2, 1145 drones of the multicopter type.
