A car driven by a 66-year-old woman hit a public lighting pole on Saturday morning, and then flipped onto the ceiling, on Constantin Brâncoveanu Boulevard, in Bucharest, the Capital Road Brigade announces. Following the accident, traffic was restricted.
The accident took place around 07:00, on bd. Constantin Brâncoveanu, from Sector 4.
“According to the first information, the driver of a vehicle, a 66-year-old woman, who was traveling on Constantin Brâncoveanu bld. from Luică str. towards Olteniței lost control over the direction of travel and hit a public lighting pole, and then overturned on the roof,” the Road Brigade reported.
As a result of the traffic accident, only material damage resulted, in which context the driver was directed to the office of the Minor Accident Bureau for the preparation of the verification documents.
Also, the car driver was tested with the Alcooltest device, the indicated result being 0, the police say.
Road traffic was restricted on lane I of Constantin Brâncoveanu bd for the removal of the light pole from the roadway.
