Ionuț Vînă, 30 years old, scored a superb goal in Farul – FC Botoșani 2-0and at the end he revealed what he felt at that stage and what happened after the final whistle, when he seemed to have a fight with the coach of the guests.
In the 5th minute, Ionuț Vînă scored what will most likely be the most beautiful goal of the stage. Being outside the opponent's box, on the base leg, the left, Vîna looked for the long corner, the link, and placed the ball at the junction of the bars. The result, a goal wonder, which can be watched below:
Ionuț Vînă, superb goal in Farul – Botoșani: “Since the ball left my foot…”
“It was a nice execution again. I'm glad that we got the 3 points, that we're in shape. If we're going to take it based on the form we're showing, I'm sorry that the competition break is coming, but we hope that we have time in these two weeks to put in place what we still have to do, to prepare ourselves physically and to continue in the same way when the championship resumes.
From the moment it left my foot, I felt, when I hit the ball, that it was 100% a beautiful execution. I still practice in training, the important thing is that I enter the matches and that I won 3 very important points”, commented Vînă.
Asked how he regained his best levelthe Dobrogean midfielder explained:
“First of all, I think my game is more offensive. I can get to the box faster, I enter the box more, in the last 30 meters, and I think that's why the executions and offensive passes, to the forwards, come. That's kind of changed, otherwise I'm the same player, I try to work for the team, give everything for the team. When executions like that come, the better.”
Conflict with Leo Grozavu at the end of the match: “Maybe he wanted to destabilize me”
He was also asked about the conflict he had towards the end with the coach of the leader, Leo Grozavu.
“It doesn't matter anymore. It's football, it happens, there were some talks. It's no problem. I respect him, he was my coach, I know he's a more volcanic guy. His team loses and it's normal, maybe he wanted to destabilize me somehow“, answered the footballer of Faru.
Ionuț Vîna, about…
… what has changed for the better at Farul: “I think we have changed in terms of attitude, every player gives their best, everyone tries to do both phases as well as possible. I think that has changed in the last games. The important thing is that now the goals are coming in, I hope we can keep it on that line.”
… the race for the play-offs: “There's more, we're only in stage 16. There's still a long way to go until the return to the championship is over, but I say that if we play like this and keep it on this line, we have every chance.”
Another win, another match where we didn't concede a goal, which is very important. We are happy that we tied 3 victories and that we are in the play-off place.
Penalties, the specialty of the house? Not really, because I missed it before. I had a discussion with Mister, that if the score is balanced, 1-0, 2-1, I will also score. Otherwise, I would leave another colleague.
We are glad that the game went on today, even if we had a little chance at the beginning. When we stayed in 10 we made our game easier.
– Ionuț Larie, defender & captain Farul
