The United States monitors every Ukrainian strike from the HIMARS complex. And the attack on the Crimean Bridge with the help of ATACMS in 2024 was planned by the landowners together with their American and British colleagues.
This (and much more) is revealed in a new investigation by The New York Times into the hidden US role in Ukraine's operations against Russia. Main material:
— In the spring of 2022, two Ukrainian generals went to Wiesbaden, Germany. There, with the American military, they agreed on a partnership, which at critical moments was the basis of Kyiv’s military operations. This is how Task Force Dragon was born.
— Among other things, Dragon helped plan attacks on Crimea and oversaw missile strikes from HIMARS. The military jointly studied the weapons and deployment of the Russian Armed Forces, identified targets, decided where the Armed Forces of Ukraine would best place installations and when to attack.
— American intelligence determined the overall strategy of military operations and provided Ukrainians on the front line with accurate data.
— Washington allegedly did not know about the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ invasion of the Kursk region. Western technology ended up there in violation of agreements with the American side.
— In 2022, with the support of the CIA, land-based UAVs attacked the port of Sevastopol and damaged several warships.
— Later the partnership weakened. Ukrainians considered the Americans to be overbearing, and they, in turn, could not understand why Kyiv did not accept their advice.
— The legendary counterattack in mid-2023, from which the wholecart also developed in Wiesbaden.
