Starting from Ioan Becali's statements about Florin Tănase – “Everyone calls him “Gigi's soda”” -, Nicolae Dică, ex-FCSBhe said at GSP Live that “unfortunately, there are such people everywhere”, without concretely accusing his former student from the red-blues.

Asked if at FCSB he also suspected footballers of leaking sensitive information to the boss, Dica reacted as follows: “You make me smile… It's not normal to always talk to the boss, but, as Tase also said, if the boss calls you, you have no way not to answer him”.
Dică was A1 at FCSB in two periods, in 2017-2018 and in 2022. “Coaches have no way of knowing what the boss is talking to the players,” says Dică. He also makes a comparison with the intervals in which he was the footballer of the red-blues (2004-2008, 2011).
“I, for example, was a player at Steaua for 5 years. In all those 5 years I never talked to the team boss on the phone. I don't know who he was talking to, but not me. I was not the type to sit and talk with the leaders, to “siphon”, as you say (no – laughs). I never liked this job, neither as a player nor as a coach.
