Mihai Stoica (60 years old), the president of the FCSB Administrative Council, announced that the champion team will appoint a sports director in the coming days.
FCSB will bring in a new sporting director in the coming days to be responsible for bringing in new players from abroad. Mihai Stoica said that this is a former Romanian footballer, but did not reveal his identity. He hopes that things will be resolved in the coming days.
Mihai Stoica: “We are bringing a sports director to FCSB”
“Not a lot of good news for us in Portugal. Before, a good first division player from the second division, you could get them. There are a lot of players who are at the end of their contract. What I have seen is very complicated to bring.
We also saw players that we have to watch, you can't watch a game and give verdicts. I also saw some gaps, but which I think can be fixed.
We are very close to signing a sporting director these daysand when Lucian Filip can walk again, as he was operated on, he will be able to walk too. For now I can't say who it is, they have to solve their problems, but we want to bring.
He is a Romanian sports director. Gigi has a bias in the choices she makes. To bring in a man who gets credit from us to evaluate a player I have to know exactly how he sees football, be passionate and, most importantly, trust him as I trust myself. There is a lot of money going around and it is very easy to be tempted.
The first name on the list meets these criteria. In a short time I think it will be resolved, if not, we will try number two on the list. He is a former footballer. Not necessarily what the Star stands for. I don't feel like showing up after things. We close even earlier than next week, I hope”, said Mihai Stoica, at fanatik.ro.
